Il kilt a tartan non è stato inventato da una sola persona. Il kilt moderno è spesso associato a Thomas Rawlinson, che introdusse un design di kilt più corto nel XVIII secolo.

Per prima cosa si misurano la vita e la lunghezza, poi si taglia il tessuto tartan secondo queste misure. Successivamente si piega e si cuce il tessuto per creare le pieghe sul retro e si aggiungono cinghie o fibbie per la chiusura.

La maggior parte dei kilt richiede circa 3,7 metri di tessuto tartan a doppia larghezza per un kilt da 8 yard, fatto a mano e su misura. La quantità esatta può variare leggermente in base alla corporatura e al design del kilt.

Stendi il kilt in tartan dietro di te e avvolgilo intorno alla vita con le pieghe sul retro. Fissalo con le fibbie o le cinghie laterali per assicurarlo in modo comodo e corretto.

To keep your outfit in good shape, dry clean wool items and gently hand-wash cotton or polyester pieces. Use low heat when ironing and never press directly on pleats. Store it in a cool, dry place to avoid damage or wrinkles.

Returns & Exchanges

Refunds are given only if the item is arrived damaged or defective. Inform us within 5 days of delivery for a full refund. After 5 days, only replacements are offered. No refund or replacement is available after 30 days.
